PIC: Shraddha Kapoor gets ready to play basketball in ‘Half Girlfriend’

Shraddha Kapoor gave her contemporaries a run for money after she smashed down the goons in a full rocking action avatar seen in her last film ‘Baaghi’. After performing various kind of roles including that of a playback singer and dancer in her earlier films, the actress is all set to add a new feather to her cap, this time by entering the basketball court as the beautiful Riya Somani in her upcoming film ‘Half Girlfriend’.

As we all know that Shraddha Kapoor is currently busy shooting for her next film ‘Half Girlfriend’ in which she and her co-star Arjun Kapoor will be seen playing the role of basketball players. As the shoot of this movie is in progress, novelist Chetan Bhagat whose book of the same name is adapted into this film shared a picture of this ‘Ek Villain’ star from the sets where Shraddha is seen sporting a jersey with her on-screen surname Somani written on it.

Though her actual look in the film is still kept under wrap, this latest still is bound to turn you curious with the backdrop it has been snapped in. ‘Half Girlfriend’ marks the third association of Shraddha with director Mohit Suri after ‘Aashiqui 2’ and ‘Ek Villain’ and her first romantic pairing with Arjun Kapoor. ‘Half Girlfriend’ is slated to hit the big screen next year on April 28, 2017.

So after Aarfa from ‘Sultan’ and Datto from ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, here arrives Riya Somani all set to basket a ball…
