Pics: Irrfan Khan begins shoot for his comeback film ‘Angrezi Medium’

Irrfan Khan is back in action. The superstar who was out of India for the better part of the last 12 months, is now back in full form. Irrfan left for Udaipur a couple of days back and after a day of prep, the actor has begun shooting for his comeback film, ‘Angrezi Medium’ from today and the pictures from the sets are going viral. The film will be a sequel to ‘Hindi Medium’, however the story will be a totally different one.

Taran Adarsh took to social media to share the first pics and he captioned it as, “Irrfan Khan resumes work… #AngreziMedium shooting begins in #Udaipur today [5 April 2019]… Directed by Homi Adajania… Produced by Dinesh Vijan… Will be shot in #Udaipur and #London… #AngreziMedium is the sequel to the smash hit #HindiMedium, but with a new story (sic).” Check out the picture right here:

Irrfan took to social media a couple of days back to thank his fans for the immense support they have given him during his illness and treatment in London. He had posted an emotional note saying, “Maybe somewhere in the pursuit of winning, we forget how much it means to be loved. In our vulnerability, we are reminded. As I leave my footprints onto these steps of my life, I want to pause to be grateful for receiving your immense love and support, it soothed me in my process of healing. So I travel back to you, thanking you from the bottom of my heart.”

Apart from Irrfan, ‘Angrezi Medium’ also stars Radhika Madan and Deepak Dobriyal in pivotal roles. The film goes on floors today, and the makers are looking at a release date towards the end of the year.
