Picture alert! Deepika chills with KJo, Sidharth and Manish

Deepika Padukone, whose first look from her upcoming big-budget film ‘Padmavati’ has kept the internet buzzing, took some time out from her busy schedule to chill with her friends.  Last evening she was chilling with Karan Johar, Sidharth Malhotra and designer Manish Malhotra.

The ace designer took to his Instagram account to share a selfie with all four striking a pose. Though it seemed like all four were just catching up, gossip mongers are rather racking their brains wondering the reason behind their meet. Are all four of them teaming up for a project? Do we see Deepika and Sidharth sharing the screen space in a film produced/directed by Karan Johar and Manish Malhotra designing their outfits? Well, you never know. Talking about Deepika’s ‘Padmavati’, the film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is about Queen Padmavati who performed jauhar (act of jumping into fire) to save her dignity. The film also stars Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. The former would be essaying the role of Maharawal Ratan Singh while the latter would be Alauddin Khilji. Sidharth Malhotra was last seen in a film called ‘A Gentleman’ which tanked at the box office. He now has the remake of ‘Ittefaq’ in his kitty wherein he would be seen romancing Sonakshi Sinha. Apart from that, he is also in a film called ‘Aiyaary’ which is a crime drama helmed by Neeraj Pandey.
