Getting your due credit for your contribution to a film is something that many people fight over in Bollywood. People who have worked diligently for any project are many a times not given their proper credit and that becomes a huge issue. However, this time it’s the other way round when the makers have given credit to senior lyricists and they have come out saying that they didn’t write any song for the film. The movie in question in ‘PM Narendra Modi’ and the lyricists are Javed Akhtar and Sameer.
Now, the producer of the movie Sandip Ssingh has come out and hit back at the two lyricists. In his latest tweet, he has clarified as to why the two senior lyricists names are credited in the movie’s trailer. He wrote, “We have taken the songs ‘Ishwar Allah’ from the film ‘1947:Earth’ and the song ‘Suno Gaur Se Duniya Walon’ from the film ‘Dus’ in our film, thus we have given the due credits to respective lyricists Javed Sahab and Sameer Ji. @TSeries is our Music partner. @ModiTheFilm2019 (sic).”
