Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel have been in the news since the time Rangoli’s Twitter account had got suspended. After her Twitter suspension, sister Kangana had sent out a video message where she defended Rangoli. Now, a police complaint has been filed against Kangana for coming out in support of her sister by a Mumbai based advocate.
According to a report by IANS, a police complaint is filed by Mumbai-based advocate named Kaashif Khan Deshmukh. The report also mentioned that as per the copy of the complaint Deshmukh said, “It is pertinent to note that one sister calls for genocide killings, violence and the other sister not just support her for the same despite nationwide criticism and suspension of her Twitter account but also gives a label of terrorist to a sect…” Also as per the complaint, the sisters are also accused of “misusing their stardom, fame, money, power and influence with an aim and intent to promote hatred, disbalance, fights in the country for their personal benefits and gains.”
For the uninitiated, it all began when one of Rangoli’s tweet was reported by Sussanne Khan’s sister Farah Khan. After which Kangana posted a video in which she has defended her sister Rangoli and also told celebs like Farah Khan Ali and Reema Kagti that her sister Rangoli hadn’t tweeted anything which was religious in nature.

Post this Farah had written an open letter to Kangana on Twitter saying that even though Rangoli didn’t use the word ‘genocide’ she implied the same with her tweet. But, Kangana did not stand down as she told her, “Don’t twist words to suit your distorted narrative.”
Well, Kangana is yet to speak about the police complaint and it will be interesting to know what she has to say about it.
