Pooja Batra spills the beans on her hush hush wedding with beau Nawab Shah

Former beauty queen and actress Pooja Batra has found love again in the ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ actor Nawab Shah. The couple has been painting the town red with their lovey-dovey posts on their social media handles. And it was only recently when we came across the news that this much in love couple have already taken the plunge.

Yes, the couple have tied the knot in the presence of their family and close friends in Delhi. This news has been finally confirmed by the ‘Virasat’ actress.

Opening about her secret wedding, Pooja told Bombay Times, “Yes, we are married. Nawab and I exchanged vows in Delhi, with only our families in attendance. Our loved ones kept asking us why we were delaying it (the marriage). I was simply going with the flow, but then I realised that he is the man I want to spend the rest of my life with, and there is no point in delaying it any further. So, here we are. We had an Arya Samaj wedding, and we will register our marriage this week.”

Pooja also revealed that though she knew Nawab as they are in the same profession, they were introduced by a mutual friend in February this year. Later, they both got to know each other more closely and the rest as they say is history.

“I have always respected and liked Nawab, and this time around, I was open to the idea of getting to know him better. A part of me wanted to see if there could be something beyond friendship between us. We share emotional and intellectual compatibility, and we don’t have to explain too much to each other. I like the fact that he is a family person,” revealed Pooja.
