Pooja Bhatt wishes ‘pops’ Mahesh Bhatt on 75th birthday, wife Soni Razdan treats fans with his ‘then and now’ photos

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt is celebrating his 75^th birthday today. On his special day, daughter Pooja Bhatt shared a special post on her Instagram. The actress shared a bunch of unseen photos and thanked her ‘pops’ for giving her ‘wings, roots and courage to stand on my own feet’.

She shared a throwback childhood photo and it’s beyond cute. The second black-and-white photo shows the father-daughter duo having a deep conversation. It looks like the picture was captured on the sets of one of their films. The last picture shared by Pooja shows him posing in a T-shirt which has ‘A real guru, if there is one, frees you from himself’.

Pooja captioned the pics as, “To the man who gave me roots, wings, the courage to stand on my own feet, walk alone & unabashedly be myself… “A real guru, if there is one, frees you from himself.” That was the understanding that UG Krishnamurti instilled in him and what he reinstates to me & countless others day by day…”

She added, “Happy 75’TH Pops! Gratitude to you & my mother for bringing me into this world. And for re-birthing me through the gift of sobriety by simply saying to me “If you love me, then love yourself.”

Pooja is Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter from his first wife Lorraine Bright aka Kira Bhatt. Apart from Pooja, he also shares a son named Rahul Bhatt. On the other hand, Mahesh and his second wife Soni Razdan have two kids – Alia and Shaheen Bhatt.
