Mahesh Bhatt death hoax: Pooja Bhatt slams rumour mongers, says, “He is living dangerously and kicking”

Last night news of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt’s death spread like wildfire. Turned out it was just a hoax. Mahesh’s daughter, actress Pooja Bhatt slammed gossip mongers that her father has suffered a heart attack and is dead. She took to social media to reveal the truth and shut down rumours. She even shared pictures of her hale and hearty father as proof.

Pooja took to her Instagram handle, and sharing an image of her healthy and hearty father, she wrote, “To the rumour mongers and the ones who called in a genuine state of panic upon hearing that my father @maheshfilm had a heart attack and is dead, here is ample proof that he is his usual self,living dangerously and kicking! In red shoes no less! This one ain’t going nowhere in a hurry and will hopefully survive us all!#maheshbhatt #rumours #livingitup(sic)”

On the work front, after nearly 20 years of being way, Mahesh is ready for his comeback to direction with ‘Sadak 2’. The film is a sequel of the 1991 hit ‘Sadak’. The original was a romantic thriller and featured Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt as main leads and went on to become one of the highest-grossing Hindi movies of that time.

The sequel stars Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur alongwith Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt. ‘Sadak 2’ is scheduled to release on July 10 next year.
