Pooja Hegde REACTS to Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus failure: It upset me a little bit

Pooja Hegde recently admitted to feeling upset when her last film Cirkus directed by Rohit Shetty failed at the box office.

Pooja Hegde, who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus. Apart from Pooja Hegde, Cirkus also starred Ranveer Singh, Varun Sharma, and Jacqueline Fernandez among others. As many know, Cirkus tanked at the box office. Now, for the first time, Pooja has reacted to the film’s failure. The actress admitted to feeling upset when Cirkus flopped at the box office.

Talking about Cirkus failure…

Pooja told Siddharth Kannan, “Did it upset me? Yes, a little bit, because it is my baby at the end of the day. But the way I look at it, I only learnt from it. I got to work with Rohit Shetty and comedy legends like Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra.”

Pooja added, “So I think overall, it was a great thing, and people really appreciated me in the film. And I love Rohit sir as a person. He is a great person to deal with and shoot with. So overall, I think I came out a winner.”

Based on William Shakespeare’s play The Comedy of Errors, the Rohit Shetty directorial Cirkus collected over Rs 40 crore at the box office.

Earlier, Rohit Shetty, who is now working on Indian Police Force and Singham Again, had opened up about Cirkus’ failure. He had shared a post on Instagram. Talking about Cirkus’ failure, Rohit had said, “From Cirkus to my accident on set, my team and I have gone though a lot in the last few weeks! WE RISE, WE FALL, BUT WE RISE AGAIN NOT JUST TO FIGHT THE BATTLE, BUT TO WIN IT!!!! Shooting the last schedule of INDIAN PLOICE FORCE in HYDERABAD before we commence the pre-production of SINGHAM AGAIN.”

Talking about Pooja’s upcoming film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, it also stars Salman Khan, Shehnaaz Gill, Jassie Gill, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, and Palak Tiwari. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is slated to release on 21^st April, 2023.
