Poonam Pandey arrested by Mumbai Police for violating lockdown rules

Bollywood’s sexy siren Poonam Pandey was arrested last night by the Mumbai Police for breaking lockdown rules. She was not alone. The actress was accompanied by her boyfriend, Sam Bombay and they were driving through Marine Drive.

As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, the couple was stopped at a nakabandi and a case was registered under sections 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) and 269 (negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life). They were given notice and allowed to leave the police station after the investigation.

A police official told ANI, “A case under the National Disaster Management Act has been registered against Poonam Shobnath Pandey at 8 PM by Marine Drive Police Station. Her car has also been seized by the police.”

Poonam Pandey is known for her raunchy pictures and videos on Instagram. She keeps her fans hooked with sizzling posts of her. In some of her posts, we can also see her with her partner Sam Bombay. The model-actress always grabs the headlines for her controversies.

This year in February, she filed a case against Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra and his associates in the court. She had alleged that Raj and his associates were illegally using content that featured on her app, despite the termination of their contract.

Talking about the Covid-19 lockdown, India is still under lockdown till May 17. We are not sure whether it will be lifted this time or extended further as the coronavirus cases are rising day-by-day.
