Poonam Pandey recently landed in trouble when a complaint was filed against her by the women’s wing of Goa Forward Party for shooting an obscene video at Chapoli Dam in Goa. The latest update on this case states that Poonam was detained by Goa police for questioning. Read on for details.

The ANI report stated that an FIR has been filed against an unknown person at Canacona Police station in Goa for shooting a vulgar video featuring Poonam Pandey. The offence has been registered under the Indian Penal Code. Also, the women’s wing of Goa Forward Party had filed a complaint against Poonam.

Now as per a PTI report, Poonam was detained for allegedly trespassing into a government property and shooting an obscene video. The model-actress was detained by Calangute police team and handed over to Canacona police. According to the police officials, the actress has been detained for questioning.

The same report also said that a police inspector Tukaram Chavan and a constable were suspended following people’s protest and threat to shutdown Canacona. Reportedly, these policemen were suspended for permitting the shoot.

Speaking about Poonam’s viral video, Durgadas Kamat, vice president and spokesperson, Goa Forward Party told ANI, “Video of Poonam Pandey has gone viral in Goa. The video was shot at Chapoli Dam in Canacona. The area is highly secured and is the property of the Water Resource Department, Goa government. Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) normally issued permission for the shoot in Goa. The Chief Minister is the chairman of the ESG. The BJP government led by Pramod Sawant is promoting Goa as porn destination which is bringing bad name to the state.” 

Kamat is now demanding the resignation of Goa’s CM Pramod Sawant and Water Resources Minister Filipe Neri Rodrigues.
