Pop icons Armaan Malik and Ed Sheeran collaborate; song out tomorrow

Armaan Malik received massive success with his latest singles ‘You’ and ‘Nakhrey Nakhrey’. Now the popular Indian musician is all set to gain new heights. He is set to collaborate with English hitmaker Ed Sheeran for his next. Yes, Pop icons Armaan Malik and Ed Sheeran are all set to come together in Sheeran’s 2022 single 2Step.

The new version of Ed Sheeran’s 2step featuring Armaan summarises the trials and tribulations of an artist’s life. It is all about their journey and how they count on their loved ones for support. Malik’s feature joins an impressive 13 global remixed versions of the track.

On June 6 Armaan took to social media to announce his collaboration with Ed Sheeran. He wrote, “Out tomorrow ❤️?
@edsheeran.”

This marks Armaan Malik’s second international collaboration. He had collaborated with K-pop star Eric Nam and American producer KSHMR.

Calling the opportunity huge and incredible, Armaan said, “I’m beyond excited to be featured on this version of ‘2Step’ with Ed Sheeran’. He’s always been such an inspiration, and I’m a big fan of his music and incredible songwriting. This is a huge moment not only for me, but also for other Indian artists too. I genuinely believe that this will be the beginning for a lot more collaborations of this nature.”

Ed Sheeran recently treated the British Royal family to a soul-stirring performance of his record-breaking hit “Perfect”. This was at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant.
