Post the losses of her father and newborn baby, Celina opens up for the first time

Few months back, actress Celina Jaitly was the happiest person there was. A mother to gorgeous twins, with a loving husband by her side, the actress was pregnant with twins again. However, seems like, owing to too much happiness, bad times were just around the corner.

Celina faced back to back blows as two months back she lost her father and now, upon the birth of her twins, she lost one of them as well. It’s truly very difficult to lose your loved ones and that too one after the other. So, even though one of her newly born twins is alive, the loss of another one can’t  be expressed, or even forgotten. Speaking about the trauma, Celina said, “It’s all just so difficult to deal with… I’ve been trying to keep it together since papa passed away. After all that we have been through, all I can say is we have immense gratitude that the universe didn’t leave our arms empty. It’s just too painful to talk about.”

On Sept 30, the actress had announced the “bittersweet” arrival of her second set of twins, but it was a sad moment as we discovered that she lost one of her twins due to a serious heart ailment. She gave birth to Arthur Jaitly Haag and Shamsher Jaitly Haag in Dubai, but unfortunately lost Shamsher. (Also Read: Celina Jaitly shares a heartbreaking news about her newborn)

Speaking further, she said, “I only wish Dad and Shamsher would send a sign. It’s been a challenging last two months. Arthur is the light at the end of our dark tunnel. It’s difficult to talk about Shamsher but I want to thank everyone for the joy they shared for Arthur and the sorrow they expressed for Shamsher. I hope pain one day turns into beautiful memories… till then please bless my family.”

Celina is married to Peter Haag (hotelier) and is a mother to five-year-old twins named Winston and Viraaj.
