Post ‘Veere Di Wedding’, Kareena Kapoor bags films opposite SRK and Akshay Kumar?

Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan’s comeback film, ‘Veere Di Wedding’ has opened to a positive response. This was the Diva’s first film post birth of her son Taimur Ali Khan. In a recent interview, the actress had confessed that she will be doing one film in a year, as she aims at spending time with her son as well as do some good films. In this manner, she will be able to maintain a balance in her personal and professional life.

It is now being reported that the beauty has signed a film not only opposite Shah Rukh Khan but also Akshay Kumar.

As reported by Deccan Chronicles, Kareena has agreed to play the heroine in ‘Salute’ opposite Shah Rukh Khan which is based on Rakesh Sharma’s life. Bebo was reportedly approached for the film before but she was waiting for the response to ‘Veere Di Wedding’. As the film has opened well at the box office Kareena has given her nod to ‘Salute’.

The reports further added that Kareena Kapoor Khan has also signed a Dharma Production film. The film will be helmed by Raj Mehta. Reports stated, “Bebo will be seen playing the role of a mother. Given how Kareena plays the role of a mom in real life, she was the perfect fit. The film is a unique take on marriage and relationships. It’s a romcom with a sweet message. When Bebo heard the script, she instantly liked it.”

So if reports do come true then after the stupendous success of ‘Veere Di Wedding’, Kareena has two lucrative projects in her kitty.
