Prabhas emerges as the ‘Most popular male film star’ despite Arshad Warsi’s ‘he looks like a joker’ comment; beats Shah Rukh Khan, Allu Arjun

2024 has been an amazing year for Indian film stars. Ormax Media unveiled its Most Popular Male Film Star in India list for July 2024 and it sees Prabhas at the No. 1 spot despite the current controversy surrounding him. For the unversed, the actor has been making the headlines owing to Arshad Warsi comparing his performance in Kalki 2898 AD to that of a joker. Scroll below to check out the list.

Most popular male film star – Julhy 2024

After a glorious box office run with Kalki 2898 AD, ‘Baahubali’ actor Prabhas emerged as the ‘Most Popular Male Film Star in India’ in July 2024. The epic sci-fi dram also starrer Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in pivotal roles. The film – which released in theatre in July, recently premiered on Prime Videos. The film’s Hindi version collected Rs 112.15 crore in the opening weekend and a lifetime collection of Rs 294.25 crore.

As per the report, Prabhas is followed by Vijay and Shah Rukh Khan on the July 2024 ‘Most Popular Male Film Star in India’ list. The other stars in the Top 10 list include Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, Akshay Kumar, Allu Arjun, Salman Khan, Ram Charan and Ajith Kumar in the top to bottom order. Check out the list here:
