Prabhas starrer Adipurush to have its world premiere at Tribeca Film Festival

Om Raut’s Adipurush has been in talks for quite a while and is and now, the film is all set to have its world premiere in Tribeca Film Festival 2023. Last night, the festival organizers announced the film’s entry into the prestigious film festival held in New York.  

Director Om Raut tweeted and expressed his excitement about the film’s world premiere at the Tribeca film festival. The director expressed his gratitude to the entire team of Adipurush. He said that he can hardly wait to watch his film. Adipurush’s cast and crew are also overjoyed with this feat. Adipurush is the only Indian film out of the 127 chosen films that will be screened at the Tribeca Film Festival.

The Tribeca film festival will be held from 7th June to 18th June in New York. Adipurush will be screened under the ‘Escape From Tribeca’ category. The film is touted as Om Raut’s big-budgeted visual treat. It stars popular B-town and south actors Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh, and Amitabh Bachchan. This magnum opus is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair.

Adipurush is based on the great epic of Ramayana and narrates the brave story of the great lord Ram. It had made several controversies due to the poor quality of VFX. Later, the film got pushed ahead of its release date due to boycotts and controversies.
