Prabhu Deva to essay villain for the first time ever in Himesh Reshammiya’s Badass Ravi Kumar; here’s when it will release

Himesh Reshammiya is among the top composers in Bollywood. Apart from musical space, the actor has tried his hands on acting with films like Aap Ka Suroor, Karzzz, Damadam, and The Xpose among others. Himesh Reshammiya will next be seen in Badass Ravi Kumar. Its teaser was attached to Jawan screenings in theaters all over the country and garnered great reactions from audiences. Well, the release date of the film is out. Reportedly, Badass Ravi Kumar will star Prabhudeva as one of the villains.

Badass Ravi Kumar, produced by Himesh’s music label is all set for a Dussehra release on 11th October 2024. As per reports, the film is currently in the pre-production stage and will go on floors in March 2024. Talking about the latest update, the biggest surprise will be Prabhu Deva who will essay the role of a villain, Carlos Pedro Panther for the first time. He will be one of the larger-than-life eccentric villains against Ravi Kumar. Other key cast and credits of the film including 9 other villains besides the lead heroine and many big character artists will be announced soon along with the director of the film.

About the film

Set in the glamorous and larger-than-life 1970s era, the film will be a musical action entertainer with opulent songs and some very high-octane action sequences designed by the best action directors across the globe. It is a spin-off based on his character from the 2014 film The Xpose. The film will see Himesh reprising his character of Ravi, who this time is pitted against 10 villains. Himesh not just plays the titular role but has also penned the story and composed music for the film. It will be released in 2023.
