Prachi Desai turns down offer for a Pakistani ad. Here’s why!

The unfortunate incident of Uri attacks left everyone shaken to the core. Bollywood too, was affected, given the fact that many Pakistani artistes had been working here. This tragic event was followed by a ban on the Pakistani artistes working here in India by a political party. And now, considering these strained ties between India and Pakistan, actress Prachi Desai too has recently turned down an offer to work in an ad for a Pakistani beauty brand.

Regarding this turning down of an offer, Prachi Desai has issued an statement saying, “As of now, I am not taking up any endorsement deals in Pakistan and yes I have turned down the offer since I feel it is not the right time.”

“But the actor politely turned it down. She has done this keeping in mind the relations India has with our neighbours at this time. She thought it would be inappropriate for her to be signing up for such a thing right now,” added a source close to the ‘Bol Bachchan’ actress.

Prachi Desai was last seen on the big screens with musical drama film ‘Rock On 2’.
