Kangana Ranaut played Rani Lakshmi Bai in the film ‘Manikarnika’. She and the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra are currently at loggerheads after she compared Mumbai to PoK. We have seen more often in Kangana’s tweets where she gives the example of her film ‘Manikarnika’ to show how passionate she is for the country.
Actor Prakash Raj has now taken a jibe at Kangana for frequently mentioning about playing Rani Lakshmi Bai in ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’. He shared a picture collage of actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, Ajay Devgn and Vivek Oberoi who played historical characters. The collage also featured Kangana as Rani Lakshmi Bai.
The text on the picture read, “If one film makes Kangana think that she is ‘Rani Laxmi Bai’ then Deepika is Padmavati, Hrithik is Akbar, Shah Rukh is Ashoka, Ajay is Bhagat Singh, Aamir is Mangal Pandey and Vivek is Modi ji.”

On September 9, Kangana returned to Mumbai with Y plus security by the central government. On the same day, her office was partially demolished by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation for ‘illegal constructions’. Today, she has left the city after being ‘terrorised’, ‘constant attacks’ and ‘abuses’ hurled at her as claimed in her tweet.
