Prateik Babbar on Imran Khan acting comeback
Prateik and Imran starred together in JTYJN, where he played Genelia Dsouza’s brother. Recently, in an interview with Instant Bollywood, he revealed having a phone call with Imran. He also shared that they did talk about his comeback, and what he had to say, almost confirms the news.
Prateik said, “Yeah, of course, we spoke on the phone. It was good to hear his voice. Something is cooking. We all miss him. I had given up on him. But we spoke on the phone a week ago and I think something is cooking.” He even had a message for Imran. He insisted, “The country wants to see you back on the big screen but the ball is in your court.”
Imran Khan comeback
Imran’s comeback came in news when the actor responded to a fan comment. On a video posted by veteran actress Zeenat Aman, a fan had asked that now since even Zeenat ji has made her comeback, when will Imran do it. Surprisingly, Imran replied to that comment and said he will do it if his reply gets a million likes. The wave of support that he got was overwhelming. So much so, that the likes were disabled on the comment.
Imran later got more active on his social media and shared that the ‘million likes’ condition was just for fun. However, it made him see all the love he was getting, instead of just the hate that he used to focus on. He has hinted at his comeback several times indirectly through his words. Reportedly, he is in talks with JYTYJN director Abbas Tyrewala for his comeback project.
