Actor Prateik Babbar (Prateik Smita Patil) got married to his lady love Priya Banerjee on Valentine’s Day. The couple took the plunge in an intimate ceremony in the presence of extremely close family members. The newlyweds on Tuesday shared new photos from their mehendi ceremony with the caption, “Mehendi ♥️#priyaKAprateik ♾️.” The couple looked gorgeous in bright, red traditional outfits. In one photo, Prateik and Priya shared a passionate kiss as she sat on his lap and he held her close.

Priya and Arya Babbar on not inviting Raj Babbar to wedding

At the wedding, Prateik’s father and half siblings were missing. Arya Babbar reacted to same and said, “I think it’s done and dusted now. And what I had to say on behalf of my entire family, I already have. I wish the couple the best, but I think it was very important for the world and our industry and media and for our friends to know that the boy did not call his father and the boy did not call his family. And it was important for everyone to know that he disrespected the love of his mom, Smita Ma. And I think I have communicated that already.”

While Priya said, “There was absolutely no family member who was missing from the wedding or our celebrations. I don’t know why there are rumours that “family members” were absent. Our families were there including my parents, his aunts who raised him, his nana-nani and everyone who mattered and is family was with us. And there was absolutely nobody who is family was missing.”

Prateik Babbar was previously married to writer and filmmaker Sanya Sagar. The couple tied the knot in January 2019 after dating for several years. However, their marriage faced difficulties, and they reportedly separated in 2020 before eventually parting ways.
