Prateik Babbar joins Sushant Singh Rajput in Nitesh Tiwari’s next

Actor Prateik Babbar, who was last seen playing a baddie in Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani starrer ‘Baaghi 2’, has joined Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor in Nitesh Tiwari’s yet untitled project which is backed by Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Studios.

The movie that is set on the background of an engineering college, is all about a student drama with a social message for the masses.

In a statement to IANS Prateik said, “I’m looking forward to be a part of this project. Sajid Nadiadwala has been very supportive and I’m ever grateful. I can’t wait to work with Nitesh Tiwari as well.”

As per sources, “Prateik plays Raggie, the coolest guy on the campus, who is a topper academically and numero uno on the sports field as well. He’s the quintessential head boy and not just the teachers and faculty, even the girls adore him while the boys want to be like him. He has already trained in basketball and will be training in football too. His character appears majorly in flashbacks when all the actors are college students and the team has been working on his look keeping the ’90s styles in mind.”

The film is expected to roll by November 2018 and will hit the theaters in August 2019. Prateik has already started the prep to play the coolest guy on the campus. He is training in basketball and football for the film.

Prateik Babbar is currently busy shooting for Mahesh Manjrekar’s next ‘Devidas Thakur’.
