Prateik Babbar to play antagonist in Rajinikanth starrer ‘Darbar’

Life is full of ups and downs and very rarely it offers you a second chance. Prateik Babar, when he entered the industry, had lots of potential. Unfortunately, he made some silly mistakes and lost his way. Now, it seems that Prateik Babar would be working alongside Southern superstar Rajinikanth. Yes, you have read it right! Prateik has been cast in Rajini starrer ‘Darbar’.

Prateik (in 2018) impressed audiences with Tiger Shroff starrer ‘Baaghi 2’. And he also has Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Chhichhore’, Mahesh Manjrekar’s ‘Power’ and Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai’. Prateik’s acting seems to have impressed AR Murugadoss. This project will feature Rajinikanth as a cop after 25 years. It will be the first time Prateik is working with the superstar and the filmmaker. The film is a trilingual one and would be quite extravagant to say the least.

Prateik (in an interview with Mumbai Mirror) said, “It is such a dream come true to have bagged this project in such little time. This year is looking very positive for me and Sanya (Sagar) has been such a great influence on my life professionally and personally. I can’t wait to commence shooting with Rajinikanth sir and AR Murugadoss sir this week and create some magic.”

‘Darbar’ also features Nayanthara as the female lead. The actor has previously worked with Rajinikanth in ‘Kuselan’, ‘Chandramukhi’ and ‘Sivaji’.
