Pregnant Yami Gautam talks about prep before welcoming first child; reveals Aditya Dhar got her Amar Chitra Katha and Ramayana

Actor Yami Gautam is all set to embrace parenthood with her husband Aditya Dhar. She is currently in the final trimester and usually, the mothers get all worked with all the prep before welcoming their child. Talking about the same, Yami Gautam talked about the baby prep that she is taking in her final leg. Yami revealed that they have not made any nursery room for the baby but babyproofing will begin soon.

Speaking about the same, the Article 370 actor said, “We are traditional, we don’t really have a concept of making a nursery. Of course, there are adjustments, you have to prepare. Baby proofing will happen later when the baby starts running around. My sister, who is a mother, says this is the best phase. I am sure there will be challenges as well, but we will get to know once we are in it. We are just very excited.”

Moreover, Yami also spoke about the measures her husband Aditya Dhar is taking for the baby. She told HT, “He is just very happy. We keep discussing things and exchanging notes. He keeps sending me stuff he feels will help me. Then we have our parents too, we ask them how they tried to do it. Anyone who knows Aditya knows he is very calm. He keeps asking me ‘What do you want to eat today, what do you feel like doing; He has got Amar Chitra Katha and Ramayana for me. My mom used to read it when she was expecting me and my sister.”

Meanwhile, Yami Gautam announced that she was pregnant during the trailer launch of Article 370. She even shot the movie during her pregnancy.
