Preity responded, “Kangana is a fantastic actress and a fashion icon. I haven’t seen her work as a director yet, but I believe she is a very capable one. I wish her all the best in her new venture as a politician, and I sincerely hope she serves the people of Himachal Pradesh well.”

Preity Zinta Clarified Her Intentions On Joining Politics

Amidst the conversation, Preity clarified that she has no intentions of entering politics herself. Although she has received offers from various political parties for tickets and even Rajya Sabha seats over the years, she firmly stated, “No! No politics for me. It’s just not what I want. While calling me a soldier may not be entirely wrong—I am a soldier’s daughter and sister—it reflects our unique upbringing. We fauji kids, or army brats, are wired differently. We don’t identify as North Indians, South Indians, Himachalis, or Bengalis; we are simply Indians, and yes, patriotism and national pride are in our blood. If you know, you know! Ting!”
