Preity Zinta to make her comeback with ‘Lahore 1947’ opposite Sunny Deol?

Preity Zinta is one of the most loved actresses in Bollywood. Over the years, she has given several hits luch as Veer Zaara, Kal Ho Na Ho, Dil Chahta Hai, and Salaam Namaste among others. She was last seen in Bhaiaji Superhit (2018). Now as per reports, Preity is all set to make her comeback to movies. Reportedly, she will be making her comeback with ‘Lahore 1947’ opposite Sunny Deol. For the uninitiated, Lahore 1947 will be co-produced by Aamir Khan Productions.

On Wednesday, Preity was spotted exiting a studio in Mumbai where she went for a look test. According to IndiaToday, Preity gave her look test for Lahore 1947. The upcoming movie will mark Preity and Sunny’s onscreen reunion. The two actors have worked together in films like Hero: Love Story of a Spy, Farz, Bhaiaji Superhit, and Heroes.

Last year, when Sunny Deol came as a guest on Karan Johar’s chat show ‘Koffee With Karan season 8’, he was asked about the collaboration. Sunny said, “When Aamir Khan came to the success party of Gadar 2, he came to me and said that he wanted to meet me. I surprisingly asked myself what it was all about, and the next day we met, we discussed some ideas and possibilities for cooperation, and after the conclusion, we came to this project, and that’s how it happened.”

On the other hand, Lahore 1947 will be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
