Prithviraj trailer: Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Manushi Chhillar starrer looks magnificent

After a lot of wait and increasing fan’s anticipation, the makers have finally released the new trailer of Prithviraj and it looks nothing but looks magnificent. The Prithviraj trailer that stars Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Manushi Chhillar and Sonu Sood showcases glimpses of the chronicles of Prithviraj Chauhan which is quite intriguing. The trailer teleports you to the 12^th century when India’s best Samrat takes over the country and writes history with his sword. From long shots to the majestic looking Havelis, the magnum opus impresses us with its grandness. We have seen such gloriousness before in Sanjay Leela Bhansali films before and well, Prithviraj does give us vibes of the same.

The trailer starts off by showing Akshay as Prithviraj’s coronation in Delhi and then enters, the love of his life, princess Sanyogita who is beautiful and graceful but knows how to courageously fight for love and honour. As Sultan Muhammad Ghori tries to invade Delhi and has an intention to take over the city, Samrat gears up to fight him. Akshay as Prithiviraj looks fierce and feisty. The trailer showcases Samrat’s valour and power as a ruler which seems pretty enthralling.

On the other hand, Sonu Sood as Chand Vardai who is an adviser and Sanjay Dutt as Kaka Kanha who fought with the great Samrat in all his conquests played their parts with conviction. The film will surely leave everyone spellbound.

Sharing the trailer of Prithviraj on social media, Akshay wrote, “शौर्य और वीरता की अमर कहानी… यह है कहानी सम्राट पृथ्वीराज चौहान की ।“. whereas Manushi Chillar who makes her debut with this periodical drama captioned, “Ek Samrat aur ek Rajkumari ki amar prem katha.”

Produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Prithiviraj starring Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Manushi Chhillar, Manav Vij, Ashutosh Rana and Sakshi Tanwar will be releasing on June 3.
