Priyamani disappointed by Jawan director Atlee for THIS reason

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan is receiving glorious response from the netizens for the very right reasons. Apart from King Khan, the film also stars Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi in key roles among others. Directed by Atlee, Jawan was released on 7 September and is jolting the box office.

Speaking of Priyamani in Jawan, she plays the character of Lakshmi who is a part of Shah Rukh Khan’s girl squad. Though the film is performing well, does Priyamani hold a grudge against director Atlee?

Is Priyamani disappointed by Jawan director Atlee?

Before the release of Jawan, it was reported that South star Vijay Thalapathy would have a cameo in the Atlee directorial. The reports were creating storm on the internet. But, the rumours turned out to be false. Now, News18 has reported that Priyamani was told by Atlee that Vijay was on board with Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan. Excited by this, Priyamani had requested for a few scenes with him and Atlee had agreed for it.

However, during the shoot, Vijay Thalapathy was not a part of Jawan. This disappointed Priyamani. Reportedly, she has joked that Atlee cheated her for not giving her screen-space with Vijay in Jawan. She complained about this in good faith.

Directed by Atlee, Jawan is produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. Jawan marks the team up of Shah Rukh Khan and Priyamani for the second time. Previously, the two were seen in Chennai Express, shaking their leg in the famous song, One Two Three Four. Ever since Jawan hit the theatres, it is shattering the box office and is continuing to grow. Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan inches closer to 700 crore mark as it earned Rs.696.67 crores globally on day 8.
