Here’s why Priyanka Chopra added Jonas to her name on Instagram

‘Barfi’ actress Priyanka Chopra has come a long way in her career and deserves all the success. The former Miss World had a memorable 2018 as she tied the knot with Nick Jonas in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur. The duo tied the knot as per the Hindu and Christian customs.

Now, Priyanka will be appearing with Kareena Kapoor Khan on the finale episode of ‘Koffee with Karan 6’. In the show when the talk veered towards the social media, Karan Johar asked PeeCee about her change of name on her Insta handle. “Are you now Jonas?” he probed, and she blushingly admitted that soon after they had tied the knot, Nick asked her what her name was.

In answer to her “Priyanka Chopra Jonas”, her husband had simply nodded, “I see… I see…” before quipping, “And on Insta?” Priyanka then realised at that moment that the name change would be official only when it reflected on Instagram, so she added Jonas to her name.

This episode featuring Bebo and PeeCee is going to be super fun and it’s going to air tomorrow.

On the work front, PeeCee will also be making her Bollywood comeback with Shonali Bose’s upcoming biographical drama ‘The Sky Is Pink’. The film also stars Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf in lead roles. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on October 11, 2019.
