Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas to reveal daughter Malti’s face soon

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas welcomed their first child, a baby girl, via surrogacy, earlier this year. On Mother’s Day, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas shared the first photo of their daughter but they did not reveal her face. Now, in a recent interview, Priyanka’s mom Madhu Chopra revealed that the couple may reveal Malti Marie’s face soon. She also spilled the beans on how Nick takes care of his daughter. Madhu Chopra also revealed all about the naming ceremony of her granddaughter.

In an interview with The New Indian Express, Madhu Chopra shared details about her granddaughter’s naming ceremony. Dr. Madhumalti Chopra aka Madhu Chopra said she was ‘honoured’ that Malti was named after her.

She said, “I got to know about the name only on the day of the namkaran, and I was so honoured. In our tradition, the paternal grandfather whispers the name, along with words of wisdom, into the baby’s ears. Nick’s dad did those rituals.” She also hinted that the couple may reveal their daughter Malti’s face on her first birthday.

Talking about how Nick Jonas is a doting father, Madhu said, “I give a massage and Nick gives her a bath and changes her diapers.” Madhu Chopra also went on to reveal that she has advised PeeCee to not allow any screen time to her daughter in the first few years. She said, “I told Priyanka, with screen time at such a young age, your daughter will get mote mote chashmah.”

Talking about PeeCee’s work front, she will be seen in It’s All Coming Back To Me, Citadel and Jee Le Zaraa.
