Priyanka Chopra unleashes her inner desi girl in black saree at pre-Oscars event, fans call her ‘gorgeous mommy’

Actress Priyanka Chopra has not forgotten her roots, her culture despite being abroad. She is often seen dressed in Indian traditional outfits specially saree. On Wednesday, Chopra donned Indian attire as she hosted a pre-Oscar party in Beverly Hills, celebrating South Asian excellence in films. Our desi girl donned a black saree that she paired with a matching strapless blouse. Priyanka’s videos and pics from the event have gone viral on social media.

A video of the diva is doing the rounds where she could be seen posing for the paparazzi at the event. It is shared by one of her fan clubs. She was a similes as she posed for the cameras. In another video, PeeCee was seen giving speech.

Fans have gone gaga to see Priyanka in the desi avatar at the pre-Oscar event. A fan wrote, “Wow a saree. Pri looks hot.” One more commented, “OMG!! She looks so Gorgeous in this Saree!” A fan called her “gorgeous mommy.”

The party was co-hosted by Mindy Kaling, Kumail Nanjiani, Anjula Acharia, Bela Bajaria, Maneesh K. Goya and Shruti Ganguly. As per Hollywood Reporter, the event was sponsored by UTA, the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences, Johnnie Walker, South Asian Arts Resiliency Fund of the India Center and the Juggernaut.

Oscars 2022 will be hosted by Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes. The ceremony will be held on March 27 at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre.

In January, Priyanka and Nick Jonas welcomed a baby via surrogacy. On the work front, she will be seen in Jee Le Zara, web series Citadel, romantic comedy Text For You, and action film Ending Things.
