Priyanka Chopra at Dilip Kumar’s ‘Substance and Shadow’ launch

One of the biggest events in the 2014 Bollywood calendar is without doubt the launch of legendary superstar Dilip Kumar’s autobiography. The book has been penned by Udaytara Nayar and titled as ‘ Substance And Shadow’. This biography of the legend is eagerly awaited not only by his fans, but the film industry too.

Dilip Kumar’s biography launch will have the who’s who of Bollywood participating, from Lata Mangeshkar to Amitabh Bachchan to Aamir Khan, Karan Johar too. Recently heard Priyanka Chopra too will be part of the launch. She will be joining legendary icon Lata Mangeshkar to light the lamp and open the event.

As per sources, “Priyanka Chopra who has flown down from Barcelona to Mumbai will be part of the launch of the legendary Dilip Kumar’s autobiography’Substance and Shadow’ . When approached for this she was extremely keen on honoring the actor as she deeply respects and admires him and took time out of her busy schedule to accommodate the event”.

Priyanka’s father Late Dr Ashok Chopra was a huge Dilip Kumar fan so Priyanka feels even more honored to have got an opportunity to take part in this event.
