Priyanka Chopra gets a warm farewell from her ‘The Sky Is Pink’ team

Priyanka Chopra, who is gearing up for her wedding with Nick Jonas, has completed the Delhi schedule of ‘The Sky Is Pink’. On the occasion, her team bid her a warm farewell which included a cake which had ‘Congratulations to our dear bride to be P.C.J.’ written on it.

In an interview with IANS, Siddharth Roy Kapur also said, “Priyanka has been wonderful. She will be shooting with us right till the very eve of her nuptials, which I think shows a tremendous amount of professionalism.” In the film, Priyanka is playing Zaira Wasim’s mother. It is based on the life of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary. She was born with SCID (Severe Combined Immuno-Deficiency) and was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis by age 13. Despite this, she wrote a book called ‘My Little Epiphanies’. From the sound of it, the movie seems to be an extremely heartbreaking story. The film will be directed by Shonali Bose, and also stars Farhan Akhtar in a pivotal role.

Even though Priyanka and Nick haven’t confirmed their wedding date, it is assumed that they will tie the knot at Umaid Bhavan Palace on December 1st. Apart from ‘The Sky Is Pink’, Priyanka is also looking forward to the release of ‘Isn’t it Romantic’.
