Priyanka got emotional at her wedding, remembering her late father

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are the IT couple of Bollywood these days. The two, who, only after four months of dating, decided to get married, look absolutely in awe of each other.

NickYanka, as they are popular known as, got hitched for life as per Christian wedding traditions on December 1, 2018 and as per Hindu traditions yesterday i.e, 2nd December, at the Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur. PeeCee took to her social media account to share pictures of her Mehendi and Sangeet ceremony, which looked like all things fun.

The wedding pictures will be shared by the couple today and fans are eagerly awaiting them.

Till then, here we have a few inside details of the wedding ceremony for you. According to reports in Mid Day, the wedding festivities kickstarted at 8 AM yesterday with a puja. The mauli ceremony had the couple were a sacred thread on their wrists. This was followed by Priyanka’s brother Siddharth Chopra explaining the significance of each customs to the Jonas family.

The Haldi ceremony started at noon, which saw PeeCee wearing a yellow and orange outfit. The chooda ceremony had PeeCee’s paternal uncle gift her 21 bangles which were bathed in milk and rose petals..

The Hindu wedding commenced at around 6 PM with a Sehrabandi ceremony, where a family member of Nick tied him a turban. A guest revealed to Mid Day, “A cheer went up among the guests as the bride and groom came face-to-face at the mandap. Priyanka teared up during the jaimala session.”

The actress had also gotten emotional remembering her late father at her Christian ceremony, where her mother gave a speech after the couple exchanged wedding vows.

The actress is a true Indian bride by heart and we cannot wait to see how she looked at her wedding.
