Actress Priyanka Chopra‘s love for her father late Dr Ashok Chopra is much evident. Not many would be aware but Priyanka’s father was also a singer whose debut devotional music album ‘Haal mureedan da kehna’, which carried the verses from the Guru Granth Sahib was launched in the year 2010 by Priyanka herself. And today, post his demise, after three and a half years, the ‘Barfi!’ actress is including a song recorded by him before he passed away. This song would be added in Priyanka’s forthcoming Punjabi film ‘Sarvann’.
The actress-producer has taken to Twitter to share this song link with everyone, “My father Dr.Ashok Chopra’s rendition of the famous shabad by Guru Gobind Singhji #Sarvann.” [sic]

Isn’t that a heart-touching gesture from a daughter’s side?
Produced by Priyanka’s production house Purple Pebble Pictures, ‘Sarvann’ is her second project after ‘Ventilator’, a Marathi movie which had released last year in November.
