Priyanka Chopra Jonas is joyous after welcoming baby, reveals mother Madhu Chopra

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her husband, singer-actor Nick Jonas welcomed their first child, earlier this year. The couple made an announcement about the arrival of their baby. Priyanka made a post on Instagram and informed that she has welcomed her first child with Nick Jonas. Since then, the actress along with Nick have been busy with parenting duties. As new mom Priyanka Chopra performs baby duties, her mother, Madhu Chopra opened up about the actress embracing motherhood. Madhu Chopra revealed Priyanka is happy after welcoming her baby.

Speaking with ETimes, Madhu Chopra shared that she has not yet met Priyanka’s little one as she is in India, while her daughter is in the US. Talking further, Chopra said, “I don’t even remember Priyanka and my son anymore. All I think about is the little one.” she said. When questioned about how Priyanka is managing mom duties, her mother shared that the actress is joyous.

Priyanka Chopra’s mother mentioned that she often connects with her daughter via video call. She said, “We do Facetime once in a while. I think she is happy and joyous. This is all I can say for now.”

Meanwhile, it was earlier this year that Priyanka made an announcement about the arrival of her little one. She shared a note on Instagram that read: “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much (heart icon).”

On the work front, the actress has been busy with her professional commitments, prior to welcoming her little one. She wrapped up the schedule of Citadel co-starring Richard Madden. Priyanka has the Hindi movie titled Jee Le Zaraa in her kitty. Other than that, she has a movie with Sam Hueghan and Celine Dion titled Text For You.
