We just can’t stop gushing over Priyanka’s elegant mangalsutra

Post the four-day wedding festivities in Jodhpur, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas hosted a lavish wedding reception at the capital city where PM of India Narendra Modi, prominent businessmen, designers, and Priyanka’s maternal and paternal relatives were invited. Today one of Priyanka’s friends shared a few pictures from the wedding festivities including a close-up view of the bride’s mangalsutra.

Priyanka and Nick made their first public appearance as a married couple on December 3 at Jodhpur airport while they were heading for Delhi. Bride Priyanka was in a sheer teal blue saree with golden embroidery by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. We could see the glow in her face with sindoor on her maang, red chooda, and the mangalsutra. Today we came across a very clear picture of her mangalsutra and the engagement ring on her finger. We also spotted a diamond band along with the ring which is apparently the wedding band that she exchanged with Nick during their Christian wedding.

PeeCee’s mangalsutra is designed by Sabyasachi Jewelry. Unlike other mangalsutras, the actress opted for a one that starts with a few black beads at the beginning of it. The rest chain is of gold. With the black beads, we can see a tear-shaped diamond along with three small rounded ones.

Priyanka and Nick got hitched as per Christian and Hindu rituals at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur. Reports suggest that the couple will be hosting their second reception in Mumbai in mid-December. Post that Priyanka will be completing her work commitments and then the newlyweds will be heading for their honeymoon to exotic locations.
