Priyanka Chopra misses father Ashok Chopra on parents’ marriage anniversary

Priyanka Chopra recently shared a beautiful picture of her parents on the occasion of their wedding anniversary. Priyanka misses her father Ashok Chopra and she recalled a beautiful memory with which she says she always remembers him on her parents’ wedding anniversary.

Priyanka took to her social media accounts and shared a picture in which her father is seen giving a rose to his wife Madhu Chopra. The couple looked smitten by each other, smiling their heart out. Sharing the picture on her Instagram account, Priyanka wrote in the caption, “This is always how I remember your anniversary. Miss u dad. Love you.”

Priyanka Chopra’s father passed away in 2013 after a long battle with cancer. Ashok Chopra was a physician in the army and passed away at the age of 62.

Priyanka’s mother Madhu also remembered her husband as she shared an unseen picture with him on Instagram.

On Oprah Winfrey’s show Super Soul, talking about her father’s death Priyanka had said, “I think around the death of my dad. I was very angry. I was very angry. My relationship with God changed a little bit. But then at the same time, I feel like God helped me find salvation and come out of it too. But at that time, it was tested.” She added, “Oh man, I went to every temple there was to go to. I did every prayer there was to do. I met every godman or godwoman I needed to meet, every doctor I needed to go to. I flew my dad to Singapore, New York, Europe, India, everywhere, just to do whatever I could to prolong his life. It’s such a helpless feeling.”

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra and husband Nick Jonas recently welcomed their first baby via surrogacy.
