Priyanka Chopra is one of the most loved stars in the industry. Priyanka recently moderated a discussion with US Vice President Kamala Harris at the Women’s Leadership Forum conference in Washington DC. The actress took to Instagram and shared a bunch of pictures and videos with VP Kamala Harris. She also penned a lengthy note and opened up about the importance of women using their voting rights. She also spoke about how she doesn’t but her daughter Malti will vote in the US one day.

The actress wrote, “To quote Ruth Bader Ginsburg – “Women belong in all places where decisions are being made. It shouldn’t be that women are the exception.” Since the very beginning, the world has undermined the power of women. We’ve been shunned and silenced, but thanks to the sacrifices and tenacity of so many selfless women, we are in a place today where we can come together and work collectively to right the wrongs.”

Speaking about her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, PeeCee wrote, “While I don’t vote in this country – my husband can and one day, my daughter will.”

Priyanka and Nick welcomed their little girl via surrogate in January this year. The couple had released a statement that read, “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.” Priyanka and Nick keep sharing their baby girl’s pictures on Instagram. The couple is yet to reveal her face.

On the work front, Priyanka will be seen in Citadel. She also has It’s All Coming Back To Me. Apart from this, PeeCee also has Jee Le Zaraa with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. According to a Pinkvilla report, Ishaan Khatter is also a part of the film.
