Priyanka Chopra opens up about her baby girl for the FIRST time: Will never be imposing my desires

Actress Priyanka Chopra and her singer-actor husband Nick Jonas welcomed a baby girl via surrogacy in January this year. Priyanka and Nick are yet to share pics of their daughter. Now, for the first time, the diva has spoken about her little one, the kind of parents she wants to be and a lot more. It was during a chat with Lilly Singh about her new book, Priyanka spoke about it in details.

Pee Cee said that as a new parent she keeps thinking about that she will never be imposing her desires, fears, her upbringing on to her child. “I have always believed that children come through you not from you. There is no belief like this is my child and I will shape everything. They come through you to find and build their own life. Recognising that really helped me, my parents were very non-judgemental in a certain way,” she added.

Well, Priyanka’s mom Madhu Chopra has not met her grandchild yet. Earlier, while talking to the paparazzi at an event, she said that Priyanka’s daughter is yet to be named. She expressed her happiness as she said, “Nani bane toh bahut bahut khushi hui mujhe (I was so happy to become a grandmother). I am only smiling all the time. I’m very happy.”

On the work front, Priyanka will be seen in Jee Le Zaraa with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. She also has Citadel co-starring Richard Madden and Text For You with Sam Hueghan and Celine Dion.
