Priyanka Chopra plans to turn a producer soon

Many actors try to enter a different side in the world of cinema when they are able to take a risk after establishing themselves. One such important aspect of filmmaking is producing the film which has been done by many lead actors of Bollywood. But not many actresses have ventured into this except for some exceptions like Anushka Sharma who turned producer with her last year’s release ‘NH10.’ But one more talented actress of today’s time is all set to enter this zone.

It is none other than Priyanka Chopra, who is going through a tremendous phase of her career after delivering good performances in ‘Dil Dhadkane Do’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani.’ The actress who is currently shooting for her television show ‘Quantico,’ recently shared this plan of her during one of the interviews.

She said,” I want to work with new talent. I want to do small films with new directors, new writers and new actors. I know that getting a foothold in the industry is tough and can be a struggle. Currently, I am working on a few Hindi as well as regional scripts, with new talent. I should be announcing that in the next month or so. As of now, I have almost finalised three regional and two Hindi films. I will produce all kinds of regional cinema as well. I have always maintained that promoting regional cinema is important.”

With donning the hat of a producer, the actress is really taking a good step recognising the sharp content in regional cinema these days.

So, will this talented actress manage to balance the quality of good cinema as her impactful performances. Let’s wait to see.
