Priyanka Chopra finally opens up on the ‘Plastic Chopra’ tag after her botched nose surgery

In her recent memoir, ‘Unfinished’ global star Priyanka Chopra who is married to American actor-singer Nick Jonas has revealed many unknown details about her life, including a nose surgery that went wrong. PC has been always quite bold and outspoken about various issues related to her professional and personal life. Globally she is a big name now and she has established herself over the years. Her recently released biography titled Unfinished has revealed many interesting incidents about her career that may not have been explored before. In one of the chapters, the Bajirao Mastani actress remembered the time when her nose surgery had gone completely wrong and that left her disturbed.

The Miss World 2000 winner Priyanka has won a lot of fame in her modelling career and later on, she has joined the Hindi film industry as the leading lady. In 2001 her nose surgery happened and it went completely incorrect and as a result, her face pattern changed a lot. The reason behind her nose operation was the sinus infection she was going through. She has mentioned in her book how the doctor accidentally shaved the bridge of her nose that changed her look. After this Priyanka and her mother, Dr Madhu Chopra were completely disturbed by the wrong surgery and her face looked completely different from how it was earlier.

Sadly media also attacked the Dostana actress and the discussions on the nose job continued her professional life for quite some time. Press also tagged her Plastic Chopra. After this PC has worked in successful films like Krrish, Fashion, Mary Kom, Dil Dhadakne Do, and many more. And she eventually made her way to Hollywood also by working in projects like Baywatch, Quantico to name a few.

Priyanka wrote, “While it took a few years of seeing a stranger gazing back at me every time I looked in the mirror, I’ve gotten accustomed to this face. Now when I look in the mirror, I am no longer surprised; I have made peace with this slightly different me.”

Professionally Priyanka has finished the film Text For You in London which is directed by Jim Strouse. She will also be seen in an Indian wedding comedy with Mindy Kaling, which she will co-produce and star in.
