Priyanka Chopra: Would love to run for Prime Minister of India and Nick Jonas for President of US

We are running out of adjectives to describe Priyanka Chopra, aren’t we? The former Miss World has broken every glass ceiling and believes in doing extraordinary things. The ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ actress married her soulmate Nick Jonas in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur in 2018. NickYanka loves each other immensely and are always there for each other.

Now, Priyanka Chopra has expressed her political aspirations and would love to become Prime Minister of India. PeeCee (in an interview with Sunday Times) said, “I would love to run for prime minister of India. I would love Nick to run for president. I don’t like the things associated with politics, but I know that both of us really want to make a change. Never say never.” Quite a bold aspiration to be India’s PM by Priyanka, don’t you agree?

Priyanka Chopra, in recent past, has been quite politically vocal and she is also the UNICEF ambassador. Priyanka believes in equality and doesn’t mind airing her views. The actress though will have to join a party as India follows a parliamentary form of democracy and not a presidential one (like in the USA).

Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka will now be seen in Shonali Bose’s ‘The Sky Is Pink’. The film also stars Farhan Akhtar and ‘Dangal’ sensation Zaira Wasim in lead roles. ‘The Sky Is Pink’ is set to hit theatres on October 11. She is also working on a Hollywood project with Mindy Kaling.
