Priyanka Chopra replaces Zoe Saldana in The Bluff alongside Karl Urban, to essay the role of a pirate

After making her mark in Bollywood, Priyanka Chopra is carving a niche for herself in Hollywood. After her stint in Citadel, Priyanka Chopra is reuniting with Russo Brothers, as the lead of The Bluff. The global icon has replaced Zoe Saldana and will play female pirate alongside Karl Urban.

Priyanka Chopra confirms The Bluff alongside Karl Urban

Taking to Instagram, Priyanka shared a screenshot of the Deadline article. She wrote, “Now and then we had a hope that if we lived and were good, God would permit us to be pirates. -Mark Twain.” Re-sharing the post on his Instagram, her husband-singer Nick Jonas tagged her and added fire emojis. To note, Priyanka has replaced Zoe Saldana and will now be essaying the role of a female pirate.

About The Bluff

As per Deadline, the official synopsis of The Bluff reads, “Set in the 19th-century Caribbean, The Bluff follows a former female pirate (Priyanka) who must protect her family when the mysterious sins of her past catch up to her.” The Bluff, which will be directed by filmmaker Frank E Flowers. Priyanka will reportedly share the screen space with Hollywood actor Karl Urban who is known for his web series The Boys. Her Citadel partners, Russo brothers, are producing the film.

Priyanka Chopra’s upcoming movies

On the work front, Priyanka has a few other projects in the pipeline. The actress recently came on board as executive producer for the Oscar-nominated documentary To Kill a Tiger. Apart from this, she will be seen in Head of States with John Cena and Idris Elba. She is also looking forward to the second season of Citadel. PeeCee is also expected to make her Bollywood comeback in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
