Priyanka Chopra and her singer husband Nick Jonas had announced the Oscars 2021 nominees in London last year. While their fans were more than excited to see the couple on the prestigious platform, there were a few who had expressed their disdain. But we all remember when Priyanka had set the record straight with a journalist for questioning ‘contribution to movies’.
After the announcement of Priyanka and Nick at the Oscars 2021 was made, an Australian journalist named Peter Ford shared on his social media account, “No disrespect to these two but I’m not sure their contribution to movies qualifies them to be announcing Oscar nominees.” Priyanka is not one to stay quiet and she shared a screen recording of her filmography of more than 60 movies on IMDb.
Sharing the video Priyanka had asked the journalist, “Would love your thoughts on what qualifies someone. Here are my 60+ film credentials for your adept consideration @mrpford.”
