Over the last few weeks, farmers’ protest against the central government farm laws has intensified. Earlier we saw actors like Diljit Dosanjh and Richa Chadha come out in support of the farmers and now even Sonam Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra have extended their support to the agitating farmers.
Sharing Diljit Dosanjh’s tweet where he spoke about how India is a country where all religions are respected, Priyanka Chopra took to her Twitter handle and wrote, “Our farmers are India’s Food Soldiers. Their fears need to be allayed. Their hopes need to be met. As a thriving democracy, we must ensure that this crises is resolved sooner than later.”
