Priyanka Chopra-starrer ‘A Kid Like Jake’ selected for Sundance Film Festival

Priyanka Chopra might not be having any Bollywood film right now, but her fans will get to see her in two Hollywood movies, ‘A Kid Like Jake’ and ‘Isn’t It Romantic?’. And now here’s a good news. The former has been selected for Sundance Film Festival.

On her Instagram account, Priyanka posted a still of the film and wrote, “When I read the script of #AKidLikeJake, I knew immediately that this was a story I had to be a part of.. A story that needed to be told and seen..And now it’s been selected for @sundanceorg !!! While in her first Hollywood movie ‘Baywatch’ Priyanka was the antagonist, she doesn’t have big roles in ‘A Kid Like Jake’ and ‘Isn’t It Romantic?’. PeeCee herself had cleared about the role that her fans shouldn’t expect much from the movies as far as the length of her role is concerned. Well, even if she has a small role, we are sure it will be a pivotal character.

The actress is currently busy with the shooting of ‘Quantico’ season three. She hasn’t signed any Bollywood film yet, but there have been a lot of reports about her starring in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gustakhiyan’ which is a biopic on poet Sahir Ludhianvi and PeeCee will be seen as Amrita Pritam in the film. However, we are yet to hear an official announcement of the movie.

There have also been reports of her starring in Kalpana Chawla biopic and Aamir Khan’s next which is astronaut Rakesh Sharma’s biopic. But, even these films have not been officially announced.
