Priyanka Chopra talks about ‘The Sky Is Pink’; says, “I have missed the madness of Hindi movies”

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her husband Nick Jonas are currently in India to attend the Roka Ceremony of PeeCee’s brother Sidharth Chopra. Taking to social media Priyanka Chopra shared a picture of her brother and to be-sis-in-law Ishita Kumar and wished them for a better life ahead. Nick Jonas decided to go all desi for ‘Quantico’ star’s family by wearing an ivory coloured sherwani and twining with love of his life at the occasion.

Priyanka will be soon making her Bollywood comeback with Shonali Bose’s ‘The Sky Is Pink’, which also features Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim in pivotal roles. Interestingly, this would be ‘Dostana’ actress’ second collaboration with Farhan after ‘ Dil Dhadakne Do’.

Talking about her forthcoming film, ‘The Sky Is Pink’, Desi girl told mid-day,  “Though the film is about parents losing their child to an incurable disease, it’s a unique take on death — one that celebrates people’s lives instead of mourning their death. It was a challenge to go from 22 to 60 after ‘7 Khoon Maaf’ (2011). I was able to sink my teeth in the part.”

It is to be noted that Priyanka is making her comeback in Bollywood after four long years. Talking about these years, she said, “I have missed the madness of Hindi movies. I don’t look at it as a choice between Hollywood and Bollywood, it’s the magic of movies. The first thing I did after ‘Quantico’ was a Hindi movie. My career in both countries is dear to me, and as long as people want to watch me, I’ll stay!”

On the professional front, PeeCee just had her Hollywood project ‘Isn’t It Romantic’, which was released on Valentine’s Day 2019.
