Priyanka Chopra throws a ‘Paratha’ Party to celebrate her Padma Shri award

Priyanka Chopra is currently riding high on success. Her last Bollywood film ‘Bajirao Mastani’ broke records at the box-office, she received a People’s Choice as the favorite actress for her role in International series ‘Quantico’ and now she is being felicitated by nation’s prestigious Padma Shri award. Priyanka or as we call her PC has all the right reasons to be the happiest person on earth.

It’s surely a proud moment for Priyanka Chopra to receive such a prestigious award for her contribution to the world of cinema at a young age. The lady who hails from an army background feels deeply honoured. When asked about how she is celebrating this success she said that she’ll be throwing a paratha party for the team of ‘Quantico.’ She was quoted saying, “Coming from an Army family, it feels all the more special to be bestowed with this great honour. My relatives have not stopped wishing me. My mom is here with me and she is ecstatic. We plan to have a paratha party on sets today. Coming from Bareilly and the kind of background I have, I look at coming this far as an honour. Apart from hard work which I don’t think can be replaced, I think what worked for me is sticking to my individuality; not conforming to what other people think is right but going by what I think suits me best.”

Apart from this, we have also learnt that Priyanka has bagged a Hollywood film. She would being playing the role of a villain in the movie which is an adaptation of Television series ‘Baywatch.’ She would sharing scree space with biggies like Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
