Priyanka Chopra to romance Fawad Khan

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan will soon team up with the Pakistani heartthrob for Reema Kagti’s next film. Fawad had been approached to star opposite the actress in her debut production, Madamji. But the two have now teamed up for Reema Kagti’s next. Reema film had earlier been planned with Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan.

Reema’s film was to start in January 2015, but was delayed due to Saif Ali Khan’s exit. There was disagreement between the two regarding his remuneration. Later Kangana too bowed out and gave her dates to Sujoy Ghosh’s The Devotion of Suspect X.

Sources said, “Zoya Akhtar and Reema, who have written the script of the film earlier titled Mr. Chaloo, are both fond of PeeCee. Reema was impressed by the rushes of ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ and decided to give a narration of her next to PeeCee. The actress loved the script and instantly agreed to come on board.”

The film will now go on floors in September.
